if the subtitles are part of the actual encoded video, they cannot be changed. If they are not, changes can be made in the subtitle menu of the player.
You can change the font color/brightness/location/size etc in the subtitle menu. You cannot separate subtitle location by line, only as a whole.
Unfortunately, you cannot acheive sync in this way. The audio and video signals cannot be separated as described.
