Hey everyone,
I’ve been reading a lot about account hijacking recently and wondering if Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) really makes that big of a difference. I already use strong passwords, but is adding 2FA worth the hassle? Would love to hear your experiences.
Hey! I totally get where you're coming from https://linuxsecurity.com/news/security-trends/internet-blackmail-digital-extortion-2025 While strong passwords are essential, adding Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) definitely makes a huge difference in securing your accounts. Even though it might feel like an extra step, the protection it provides is worth it. 2FA adds another layer of security, making it much harder for hackers to gain access, even if they have your password. I’ve personally noticed a huge drop in unauthorized access attempts after enabling 2FA. It’s definitely worth the small hassle for peace of mind! Would highly recommend it.
My old email got breached in some random data leak (I used to recycle passwords — bad idea). Someone tried to get into my PayPal, but my 2FA text code stopped them cold.
