I'm a relatively new owner having just received my player this week. I've played two discs so far, and I think there is a firmware issue? I can press the subtitle button that pulls up the on-screen menu to adjust the font size, location, color, font and timing. I make the necessary adjustments, but my style change settings never take effect on the disc being played. I just uses the default subtitle settings. I am certain this feature should work and it's not a problem with the disc because I can put the same disc in my Panasonic 9000 player and adjust the location and brightness of the subtitle font (the only two options available) without issue. When I check for a firmware update, it says I'm on the latest version. Is there a way to fix this? Anyone else have this issue?
