Are you offering a trade in program for the present owners to the MK II players?
If so, what are the trade-in prices?

Hello, I just bought a 800MKII my first Magnetar product but I wondered the same if an trade in/up program was available. I have some SVS subwoofera and they do offer a trade in program and it certainly keeps customers loyal. I would urge Magnetar to reconsider in the future. Thank you.
We understand the interest in a trade-in program. At the premium end of the market, our players are engineered for long service life and are not built around an upgrade-cycle model like mass-market electronics. Because of this, trade-in programs would significantly increase pricing for all customers as such programs are built into the price you pay, inflating prices to subsidize those trade-ins. They are not "free" as is commonly misunderstood.
Companies that build modular products which are inexpensive to repair and built in high volume factories can be refurbished with little cost and resold as "B" stock, or in the case you're referring to "outlet" stock. Our products do not fit this model as we don't operate with a treadmill subscription mindset, but are a boutique premium hardware manufacturer.
SvS has great products and are friends of ours, but it's a vastly different business model.
We’ll continue to review customer programs, but at this time, offering trade-ins would compromise our pricing structure and the value of the products you already own.
